India, Oct. 29 -- Authorities have imposed traffic restrictions on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on October 31 and November 1 to facilitate the movement of Secretariat employees to Jammu as part of the annual Durbar Move, officials said on Thursday.

The Jammu and Kashmir government will shift its offices to the winter capital in the first week of November. Offices observing a five-day workweek will close in Srinagar on Friday, while those following a six-day workweek will close on Saturday.

Officials said goods carriers travelling from Jakheni in Udhampur towards Srinagar will not be allowed to move on October 31 and November 1.

Similarly, goods carriers will not be allowed to proceed from Jakheni towards Ramban, Banihal and Srin...
