India, Oct. 16 -- Weather across Jammu and Kashmir is likely to remain generally dry until October 24, while light rain and snowfall over higher reaches are expected from October 25 to 27, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said on Friday.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain generally dry until late afternoon on October 24.

From October 25 to 27, generally cloudy conditions are likely, with light rain at scattered places across Jammu and Kashmir. The higher reaches may receive light snowfall, while thunderstorms and gusty winds are also expected at a few places during the period.
