Srinagar, April 9 -- Srinagar- The Meteorological Department has forecast light rain and thundershowers at scattered places in Jammu and Kashmir over the next two days, with a gradual rise in day temperatures expected in the coming week.

An official at the MeT Centre Srinagar said brief spells of light rain or thundershowers are likely at scattered locations on April 9 and 10, with the possibility of hailstorms at isolated places during afternoon hours.

The weather is expected to remain partly cloudy on April 11 and 12, with brief spells of light rain at a few places towards evening. Conditions are likely to turn generally dry from April 13 to 14. Thereafter, cloudy skies with light rain at isolated places are expected on April 15 and 1...
