Srinagar, May 30 -- Ahmedabad- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday described demographic changes in India's border districts as the most significant challenge facing the country and directed district administrations to closely monitor and regularly report such developments.Chairing a security review meeting in Bhuj, Gujarat, along the India-Pakistan border, Shah also asked district administrations in border areas to formulate standard operating procedures (SOPs) for identifying infiltrators and tracking threats related to drones and narcotics.
