Srinagar, April 28 -- Srinagar- A body was recovered near Kulang Nallah in Ramnagar tehsil of Udhampur district on Tuesday, officials said.

An official said the body was spotted under suspicious circumstances following which police reached the spot and took it into their custody for medico-legal formalities, reported news agency KNO.

He said the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. Police have taken cognisance of the matter.
