Srinagar, Aug. 18 -- Jammu- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday reaffirmed the administration's commitment to the welfare of veterans and their families, assuring that every step would be taken to honour their sacrifices and ensure they lead a life of dignity.

Sinha made the remarks while chairing the 81st meeting of the Jammu Kashmir Rajya Sainik Board at Lok Bhavan, where key issues concerning veterans, Veer Naris, widows and dependents were discussed.

The meeting reviewed welfare delivery, grievance redressal, healthcare access and institutional strengthening, including the establishment of a Zonal Sainik Welfare Office at Kishtwar and improved coordination on pension-related matters.
