India, Oct. 7 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday inaugurated sports infrastructure worth Rs.30.35 crore at the Sher-i-Kashmir Multi Sports Activity Centre (SKMSAC) at Gindun Rajbagh, including an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a modern indoor gymnastics hall.

The newly developed facilities are aimed at expanding opportunities for young athletes and strengthening year-round sports training in Jammu and Kashmir.

The package includes a 50-metre by 25-metre, 10-lane Olympic-sized swimming pool, an all-weather heated training and toddler pool, and an indoor gymnastics hall equipped with modern equipment.
