Srinagar, Sept. 29 -- Srinagar- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday called for sustained business partnerships between Jammu and Kashmir's producers and buyers from India and abroad, saying the Government was working to create an enabling environment for trade, investment and industry.

Addressing the inaugural session of the two-day J&K International Buyer-Seller Meet at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), Abdullah urged buyers to look beyond one-time transactions and build long-term commercial relationships with local producers.

The event has been organised by the J&K Trade Promotion Organisation (JKTPO) in collaboration with the Trade Promotion Council of India.
