CM Omar Backs Teachers, Promises to Address Key Concerns
Srinagar, Aug. 25 -- Srinagar- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said the responsibility of shaping the future of Jammu and Kashmir's children cannot be placed on teachers alone, stressing that the government, parents and educators must work collectively to prepare the younger generation for a rapidly changing world.
Addressing a one-day Education Conference organised by the J&K Teachers Forum at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC), the Chief Minister said teachers play a pivotal role in shaping young minds, but placing the entire burden of educational transformation on them would be unfair and would add to the pressures of an already demanding profession.
