Srinagar, June 15 -- Srinagar- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday directed all departments to ensure seamless arrangements for Muharram-2026 across Jammu and Kashmir, with a focus on uninterrupted power and water supply, healthcare facilities, sanitation and efficient traffic management.

Chairing a high-level review meeting in Srinagar, the Chief Minister said extensive groundwork for Muharram observances had already been undertaken at the district, divisional and departmental levels and stressed the need to complete all remaining works well in time.
