CIK Conducts Valley-Wide Raids in Online Terror Glorification, Recruitment Case
Srinagar, Aug. 8 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Police's Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) wing on Saturday conducted raids at multiple locations across the Kashmir Valley in connection with a case involving alleged online glorification of terrorism, radical content and recruitment into terrorist ranks, officials said.
The raids were carried out in Kupwara, Baramulla, Budgam, Anantnag, Shopian and Bandipora in connection with an FIR registered at Police Station CIK, Srinagar, under Sections 505 and 153-A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 13 and 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
