CIK Conducts Raids in Srinagar in UAPA Case
Srinagar, July 8 -- Srinagar- The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Wednesday conducted simultaneous searches at two residential houses in Srinagar in connection with a case registered under provisions of the IPC and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), officials said.
Officials said that one search was carried out at Bagh-i-Mehtab at the residence of Altaf Ahmad Bhat, son of Abdul Jabbar Bhat, who has been residing in Pakistan since 1990.
Simultaneously, another CIK team conducted a search at Sheikh-ul-Alam Colony, Nowgam, at the residence of Mukhtar Ahmad Baba, son of Mohammad Yaseen Baba, who has been residing in Pakistan since 2022.
