India, April 4 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was adjourned indefinitely as the Budget Session that spanned over two phases concluded here on Saturday.

The session commenced on February 2 in Jammu and continued till February 20 before the House was adjourned for the Ramadan and Eid break. Proceedings resumed on March 27, with the House taking up budget passage and legislative business before concluding on April 4.

Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather said the session recorded a total of 22 sittings, adding that the House functioned for 11 hours and 36 minutes in total.
