Srinagar, Sept. 21 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president Tariq Hameed Karra on Monday accused the BJP of disrupting Question Hour in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to divert attention from issues concerning the people.

Speaking to reporters, Karra said the BJP should have answered questions on issues including restoration of statehood, "Chanda Chori" and paper leaks instead of disrupting the proceedings.

"Across the country, you can see how people are standing behind Rahul Gandhi. The uproar or drama that you witnessed here today was an unsuccessful attempt to subvert those issues," he said as per the news agency KNO.
