Srinagar, July 15 -- Srinagar- The district administration in Baramulla imposed prohibitory restrictions under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), preventing the holding of a Hussaini Majlis and procession scheduled at Budibugh in Pattan on the occasion of 29th Muharram.

According to an order issued by the District Magistrate, Baramulla, the restrictions were imposed following a report from the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Budgam, citing the prevailing security situation and apprehensions of a possible breach of peace during the proposed religious gathering.
