Srinagar, July 22 -- Srinagar- A 14-year-old boy who was swept away along with his mother in a flash flood in north Kashmir's Bandipora district was found dead on Wednesday, while efforts are underway to trace the missing woman, officials said.

Officials said that the boy's body was recovered from a nallah in the Guzarbal area and shifted to District Hospital Bandipora for medico-legal formalities, reported news agency KNO.

The deceased was later identified as Amir Khatana (14), son of late Mehboob Khatana and a resident of Bonibal Tangath.
