Ayushman Bharat Services Face Disruption as Private Hospitals Stick to Exit Plan
Srinagar, June 20 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Private Empanelled Hospitals and Dialysis Centres Association (JKPHDA) has reiterated its decision to proceed with a mass de-empanelment of private hospitals and dialysis centres from the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and SEHAT Scheme from July 1, 2026, alleging that the government has failed to address long-pending issues despite repeated assurances.
The association said several meetings have been held with the administration since the proposed withdrawal was announced, but no concrete measures have been taken to resolve the challenges faced by empanelled healthcare institutions.
