Srinagar, Aug. 20 -- Srinagar- Employees of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Thursday staged a protest inside the Assembly premises here against the General Administration Department (GAD) order deputing Deputy Secretary Bilal Ahmad Mir.

Raising slogans, the protesting employees said the deputation order was against established rules and administrative procedures governing the Assembly Secretariat. They urged the authorities to review the decision immediately.

The staff said they will continue to press for their demands till the order is reviewed. (KNO)
