Srinagar, May 8 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday intensified its anti-narcotics offensive across the Valley, carrying out a series of coordinated actions that included attachment of multi-crore properties, demolition of structures linked to alleged drug peddlers, arrests, destruction of narcotic crops and sealing of business establishments as part of the ongoing "Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan".

In one of the biggest actions under the NDPS Act in the Union Territory, properties worth around Rs 6.5 crore were attached in Anantnag, while authorities also sealed a cafe in Gulmarg and demolished a shop in Tangmarg during the Valley-wide crackdown.
