Srinagar, June 29 -- Srinagar- Declaring that Jammu and Kashmir is fully prepared to host this year's Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday performed the 'Pratham Puja' at the Holy Cave, marking the ceremonial commencement of the annual pilgrimage that begins on July 3.

Inviting devotees from across the country to undertake the 57-day pilgrimage, Sinha said the administration, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB), Army, police, security forces, local communities, service providers and volunteers were working in complete coordination to ensure a safe, hassle-free and memorable Yatra.
