Bengaluru- Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas, General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shiayan, on Friday called on Hindu spiritual leader and humanitarian Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at the Kaveri Art of Living Ashram here and discussed ways to promote peace and interfaith harmony.

The meeting focused on the need to strengthen dialogue across religious and cultural communities, with both leaders stressing mutual respect, understanding and collaborative efforts to address growing polarisation.

Aga briefed Sri Sri about the initiatives undertaken by the Anjuman-e-Sharie in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly its efforts towards interfaith dialogue and community harmony.
