Srinagar, May 6 -- Srinagar- At least five people were injured on Wednesday after two vehicles collided in the Sathra Mandi area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials said that this morning, an Alto and a Canter collided at Sathra, resulting in injuries to five people. All the injured were brought to Sub-district Hospital Mandi for treatment, reported news agenyc GNS.

The injured have been identified as Imdad Hussain (50), son of Mohammad Shafi; Hakim Bi (50), wife of Mohammad Hussain; Shah Begum (60), wife of Habibullah; Fatima Bi (45), wife of Jahangir Ahmad; and Shakeela Bi (50), wife of Ghulam Mohammad.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
