Srinagar, June 24 -- Srinagar- Rain, thundershowers, gusty winds and hailstorm activity affected several parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday evening, with the Meteorological Department forecasting a fresh four-day spell of widespread rainfall across the Union Territory from June 30.

According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, weather activity was reported from several districts, including Kupwara, Handwara, Baramulla, Sopore, Ganderbal and Bandipora, besides parts of Srinagar, Poonch, Rajouri and Kishtwar. Rain and thundershowers were also recorded along the Sonamarg-Baltal-Holy Cave and Pahalgam-Holy Cave routes.
