Srinagar, June 18 -- Srinagar- Police have arrested three persons, including the prime suspect, in connection with the killing of a pharmacy cashier in Chandigarh, officials said on Thursday.

The main accused, Amit Kumar, was arrested near Samba in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, a day after two other suspects, Sunny Mehra (22) and Aryan Sharma (21), were apprehended from Jammu.

According to police, the trio was involved in the daylight murder of 45-year-old pharmacy cashier Janki Das in Sector 11, Chandigarh, on June 13. Das was shot dead inside the pharmacy by two masked assailants, while a third accomplice waited outside on a motorcycle.
