Srinagar, Sept. 17 -- Srinagar- Two Pakistani terrorists affiliated with the proscribed Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) were killed and a suspected over-ground worker was detained during a joint counter-terrorism operation in the dense forests of Udhampur district on Thursday, officials said.

The operation, code-named 'Operation Sohan', was launched by the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the Brattal Sohan and Khubban areas of Majalta, near the Kathua border, amid heavy rainfall, difficult terrain and poor visibility.

The Army and police confirmed the killing of the two terrorists, identified by the J&K Police as Saddam and Mustafa, both Pakistani nationals.
