Srinagar, Sept. 29 -- Srinagar- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said more than 1.3 million clerical errors in land records have been identified and rectified as part of the ongoing digitisation and verification of Jamabandis across Jammu and Kashmir.

Replying to a question raised by MLA Devyani Rana during Question Hour in the ongoing Autumn Session of the J&K Legislative Assembly, Omar, who also holds the Revenue portfolio, said verification of digitised Jamabandis was currently underway in all districts.

He said the administration had put in place a digitisation process followed by an error-rectification mechanism to ensure the accuracy of land records.
