Srinagar, July 14 -- Jammu- In a case of mistaken identity, a family in Jammu was on its way to cremate a body they believed was that of their 27-year-old missing relative when they received an unexpected phone call from the young man himself saying, "I'm alive."

According to the details,the incident unfolded after Vishal, who had been missing for three days, was presumed dead when his family identified an unidentified body at the Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, based on a resemblance in facial features and physique.

Acting on the family's identification, the police and hospital authorities completed the formalities and handed over the body.
