Srinagar, June 27 -- Srinagar- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday unveiled a three-year national roadmap to dismantle India's narcotics ecosystem, announcing a strategy that combines intelligence-led enforcement, financial investigations, tougher laws and expanded rehabilitation to combat drug trafficking and abuse.

Launching the Roadmap for Narcotics Control (2026-2029) at the 10th apex-level meeting of the Narco-Coordination Centre (NCORD), Shah said the government would adopt a "detect, disrupt and destroy" strategy to break drug cartels and eliminate trafficking networks.
