Ganderbal, May 10 -- Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, Darakhshan Andrabi on Sunday said that a united and sustained effort by society, government institutions and youth was essential to realise the vision of a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
She was addressing the "Asluk Aalav" (The Call for Truth) awareness programme organised at Government Degree College Ganderbal by Al-Rahim Trust in collaboration with several NGOs working on social awareness and reform initiatives across the Union Territory.
Speaking as the chief guest, Andrabi said the youth of Jammu and Kashmir were actively supporting the "Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyaan" launched under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
