Leh, Aug. 13 -- Meteorologist Sonam Lotus has been conferred the Ladakh State Award 2025 in recognition of his public service and contribution to meteorological services in the Union Territory.Expressing gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor and the Ladakh administration, Lotus dedicated the honour to his colleagues, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and the people of Ladakh.He said the safety and well-being of the people remain the primary motivation behind his weather services.
