India, March 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday chaired a high-level meeting to review the situation concerning petroleum, crude oil, gas, power and fertiliser sectors in view of the evolving situation in West Asia.

The meeting focused on ensuring uninterrupted supply, maintaining stable logistics, and streamlining efficient distribution of essential resources across the country.

The review comes amid growing concerns over global supply chains due to tensions in the West Asia region, with the government closely monitoring developments to safeguard national interests and prevent disruptions.
