JAMMU, June 23 -- In a major security preparedness exercise ahead of the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, personnel of the National Security Guard (NSG), Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) carried out a comprehensive mock drill at the Amarnath Yatra base camp in Jammu.

The joint exercise involved combing and area-clearing operations aimed at assessing the readiness of security forces to respond effectively to any potential threat during the pilgrimage. The drill was conducted under a coordinated security framework involving multiple agencies responsible for ensuring the safety of pilgrims.
