Srinagar, May 7 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday paid rich tributes to the armed forces on the anniversary of Operation Sindoor, lauding their courage and unwavering commitment in safeguarding the nation.

In a statement, the Lieutenant Governor said that as the anniversary of #OperationSindoor is being observed, the nation bows in reverence to the men and women in uniform whose extraordinary bravery and determination delivered a befitting response to the enemy responsible for targeting innocent civilians at Pahalgam.

He said the valour, sacrifice and dedication of the security forces continue to inspire the nation and reaffirm the country's resolve against terrorism and threats to peace.
