Srinagar, June 26 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday joined the Youm-e-Ashura procession at Zadibal in Srinagar, where he paid rich tributes to the supreme sacrifice of Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions.

The Lieutenant Governor participated in the solemn procession and was presented with a black armband by mourners as a mark of respect during the observance of Youm-e-Ashura.

Later, Sinha offered a chaddar to Zuljinah at Zadibal, joining thousands of mourners participating in the traditional Ashura rituals.
