India Will Ensure Zero Casualty During Heat Waves: Amit Shah
Ghaziabad, May 14 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said the Centre has prepared a comprehensive plan to ensure "zero human casualty" during heat waves across the country in the coming years.
Speaking after presenting the President's Colour to the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) at its 8th battalion campus in Ghaziabad, Shah said the government's disaster management approach is now focused on being "proactive" rather than "reactive."
