Ganderbal, June 4 -- In preparation for the forthcoming Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V.K. Birdi, on Thursday conducted a comprehensive review of security and logistical arrangements at the Baltal Base Camp in Ganderbal district.

The IGP was accompanied by Rajiv Pandey and Sudhanshu Dhama during the visit. The officers inspected various facilities established for personnel of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Armed Police Forces deployed for Yatra duties.
