Srinagar, June 19 -- Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, V.K. Birdi on Friday briefed Zonal Officers and Sector Officers to review coordination and operational preparedness along the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026 route.

The police said that the briefing was attended by DIG CKR Srinagar, DIG SKR Anantnag, DIG Armed Kashmir, SSP PCR Kashmir, SO to IGP Kashmir, all Zonal and Sector Officers deputed for SANJY-2026, and other senior officers.

IGP Birdi stressed maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, vigilance, and public service to ensure the safe, smooth, and successful conduct of the Yatra.
