Srinagar, July 4 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said the Centre has designated 23 dreaded terror operatives as individual terrorists under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), reaffirming the Narendra Modi government's commitment to a policy of zero tolerance against terrorism.

In a post on X, HMO wrote, "Pursuing Modi Ji's vision of zero tolerance against terror, the MHA today declared 23 dreaded terror functionaries as terrorists under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention)."

The decision was taken in pursuance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of eliminating terrorism and dismantling terror infrastructure operating against India, post reads.
