Srinagar, Nov. 7 -- With winter approaching, Power Development Department Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar on Saturday directed officials to ensure adequate and reliable electricity supply, minimise unscheduled power cuts and strictly adhere to the prescribed curtailment schedule, while revealing that an amnesty scheme for electricity consumers is in the pipeline.

Minister Sagar visited the 220/132/33 KV Grid Station at Alusteng to review the power supply scenario and assess the preparedness of the department for the upcoming winter months.
