Empowerment of Kashmiri Women in Different Sectors

It can be described as a decade of women's emancipation, development, and empowerment. The transformation can be demonstrated through facts, figures, and supporting data, showing how Kashmiri women have increasingly moved from traditional household roles towards greater participation in economic, social, educational, sporting, and developmental activities. For example, recent J&K data show 1,72,192 women-led MSME registrations between 2020 and July 2025, while 333 of the 917 DPIIT-registered startups in J&K in 2024 were women-led.
