Srinagar, Nov. 6 -- A meeting between dissident National Conference (NC) legislators and party president Dr Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is currently underway at the Chief Minister's residence in Srinagar, with the legislators submitting a written set of demands to the party leadership.

The dissident legislators reached the Chief Minister's residence on Friday morning to formally present their grievances and seek corrective measures following the recent cabinet expansion and growing internal discontent within the party.

Among the legislators who have reached the residence are Javed Mirchal, Sajad Shafi Uri, Ghulam Mohiuddin Mir, Farooq Jan, Bashir Ahmad Veeri, Abdul Majid Bhat alias Larmi, Farooq Ahmad Shah, Mubarak ...
