Srinagar, April 18 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar on Saturday conducted a site visit to assess the progress of the under-construction extension block at the Lal Ded Hospital in Srinagar.

During the inspection, the chief minister took a comprehensive review of the ongoing works, an official said.

CM Omar Abdullah evaluated the pace and quality of the construction and examined the augmentation of critical facilities at the hospital.

He issued directions to the concerned authorities to ensure the project is completed within the stipulated timelines, the official added.
