Nigeria, Aug. 20 -- YouTube is reportedly offering selected creators millions of dollars to keep their content exclusively on the platform as it seeks to counter Netflix's growing efforts to acquire programmes from prominent online personalities.

According to Bloomberg, YouTube has begun offering financial incentives to creators who agree not to work with Netflix, escalating the competition between the two platforms for top creator talent.

Business Insider also reported that YouTube had entered exclusivity discussions with a small number of creators, with the terms varying depending on the individual.
