Nigeria, Oct. 3 -- ...says APC faces major challenges in Kwara, 2 other states

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has identified internal disagreements within the All Progressives Congress (APC) as one of the major challenges confronting the party in Kwara, Benue and Nasarawa states ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Sule also said President Bola Tinubu would receive votes from different categories of voters in 2027, not only APC members.

Speaking at a meeting of the North Central Grassroots Mobilization Network in Abuja, Sule said while there was broad support for Tinubu within the APC, disagreements over candidates for other elective positions could affect the party's ability to maximise its votes for the president.
