Six die in fiery auto crash in Adamawa state
Sri Lanka, June 4 -- Six people, including members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), have been burnt to death in a fatal road crash along the Narehi area on the Girei-Song axis of Adamawa State.
According to the spokesperson of the Adamawa State Police Command, Suleiman Nguroje, the accident occurred on Wednesday and involved a military gun truck travelling from Gombi to Yola and a commercial Hummer bus heading from Yola to Mubi.
Preliminary reports indicate that the two vehicles collided head-on, causing the commercial bus to overturn and immediately go up in flames.
"All five passengers in the bus were burnt to death after the vehicle caught fire following the impact," Nguroje stated.
