Nigeria, Feb. 26 -- The incident was confirmed by Comrade Saka Saafi O. Adanla,the Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Teachers(NUT) in Ilorin East local government area of Kwara State.

Comrade Saka who commended the Kwara SUBEB Chairman, Professor Shehu Adaramaja for his timely intervention on the issue urged for calm and added that the matter is already being handled by a court of competent jurisdiction.

He said"The NUT Ilorin East Branch, in collaboration with the State leadership, is fully on top of the situation. We are closely monitoring developments and we assure you that justice will be pursued appropriately.
