Nigeria, July 22 -- The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Senatorial Candidate for Kwara South Senatorial District, Chief Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the establishment of a Nigerian Army battalion in Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Stephen John, Oyedepo described the approval as a timely response to the security challenges facing communities in Kwara South.
