Nigeria, Aug. 13 -- The Kwara State Police Command has warned officers deployed to Osun State for election security duties against extortion, fraternisation with political actors and any conduct capable of compromising the integrity of the electoral process.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Ojo Adekimi, gave the warning while addressing officers and men of the command ahead of their deployment.
Adekimi charged the personnel to maintain discipline, neutrality and professionalism throughout the election, stressing that they must remain apolitical and impartial in the discharge of their duties.
