Nigeria, Aug. 21 -- A 2022 letter by Kwara Central Senator, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, shows that he pledged to serve only one term in the Senate if elected.

The letter, which is now in circulation but which The Informant247 has not independently verified, has resurfaced as Mustapha seeks re-election to represent Kwara Central Senatorial District in the 2027 general election.

Dated May 21, 2022, and addressed to Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the letter was reportedly written by Mustapha ahead of his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kwara Central senatorial election.
