Nigeria, May 11 -- Two universities in Kwara State have announced the discontinuation of their top-up degree programmes in compliance with directives from the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Kwara State University said its Top Up/HND Conversion programme would be discontinued from the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a public announcement signed by the Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, the university said the decision followed regulations issued by the NUC, the regulatory body for universities in Nigeria.
The institution added that the commission would later issue directives on the status of students already enrolled in the programme.
